IMG_0378Meet Angelica, Mental Health Therapist.

I am BEYOND excited to announce that Angelica will be here a few times a month to offer advice and answer some of our most critical questions regarding motherhood and personal development!

So let’s get to know her a little bit, shall we?

Throughout high school, Angelica thought she wanted to be a teacher. She had always felt a pull to the professional world of advancement and learning, but it wasn’t until she worked with a career counselor in college where she learned that her strengths, abilities, and passions would be better suited for a career in mental health.

The moment she began her journey towards becoming a mental health therapist, she felt empowered and certain. “It all just fit so well, and since then I have felt an excitement to continue growing and advancing in my career, which really has become my passion.”

Angel obtained a Masters Degree in Counseling and a Bachelors of Science in Family Social Services. She is currently a co-owner and Mental Health Therapist at Stableway Counseling Services, where her areas of specialty include women’s issues, adolescent issues, communication, adjustment, relational conflict, depression & anxiety, and mood management.

“I am a keeper of stories, heartaches, and the most beautiful hopes. I have a thirst for living intentionally and encouraging others to become the best versions of themselves”.

Angel works with clients of all ages who come to her in pursuit of help with a variety of conflicts. She loves working with women, children and adolescents, and has extensive experience working with at-risk youth in crisis situations.

Aside from her professional career, Angel is a wife, and mama of two under two. She enjoys crafting, gardening, shopping, and entertaining. She loves lists, is very organized, and has an obsession with personality tests… and cheese!
